Top 3: Summer recipes

This summer has been a whirlwind of fantastic recipes. It seems wrong not to share some of my current favorite recipes from blogs across the web.

Here are a few of the best recipes I tried this summer [and will continue making for a long time!]:

  • Blackened shrimp tacos from Budget Bytes – I’ve already made these shrimp tacos at least three times and they just keep getting better.  The shrimp sits atop a mouth-watering coleslaw drizzled with a smoky garlic lime sauce. How much better can shrimp tacos get?

  • Greek Chicken Sheet Pan Dinner from Laughing Spatula – Don’t let the quickness of this sheet pan recipe fool you, the end results are something straight out of your dreams. Accompanying the chicken on the pan is onions, peppers and potatoes. Finish it off with some feta cheese and you’ve got the perfect set-it-and-forget-it recipe for any busy weeknight.

  • Margherita Pasta (Lightened Up) by Carlsbad Cravings – I have never made a pasta sauce that uses cream cheese before so I was a little skeptical BUT this was so good! If you love tomatoes and cheese (which clearly I do), then you’ll love this pasta.
