A new beginning

Sundays are perfect for planning how you want your next week to go and, this next week I’m feeling the need for change. After accomplishing a lot over the past few months since starting this blog, I have to admit that these last two weeks I’ve been slacking on my health goals. I’d like to blame the lack of follow-through on  my job and having opposite schedules from my roommate but, there is no excuse. In order to work for something, work actually has to be done. The journey to a healthy self is not an overnight one and that’s why I’ve decided to start a six week journey with my new fitbook® lite to better hold myself accountable for the changes I want to see in my body and my lifestyle.

Packed into one little notebook, the fitbook® lite is designed to help you stay on track to create healthy habits. The journal is separated by each week where first you fill out your weekly planner which is broken into two sections, one section for meal planning and the other for a workout schedule. After the initial weekly plan, each day of that week is broken down where you write down what meals you ate, what workouts you did and then, you compare them to the plan you had originally made at the beginning of the week.

In addition to your own goals for each of the next six weeks, there are also four tweaks that the fitbook® lite encourages to successfully lose 5+ pounds in six weeks. First, get at least 30 minutes of exercise per day. Second, drink 8 glasses of water. Third, eat at least 5 fruits and veggies every day. Finally, don’t eat past 9 p.m. (Honestly, I think this is going to be the hardest part for me.)

Besides this book being so nicely laid out for people who have no experience filling out a food/workout journal (me!), there are so many tips and tricks placed throughout the fitbook® lite to keep motivation high.
